This is how an OS is done. Other phone makers should follow this ideea and abadon google.

Android is laggy, unsafe and really not user friendly. It's also a major battery hog.

AnonD-4470, 23 May 2015So Apple is now copying Microsoft in bringing the mobile and desktop platform cost together. OS X and iOS are built from the same code until the final layers are added: Cocoa for OS X and Cocoa Touch for iOS. It is unlikely the two operating systems will grow any closer than this since they have been designed for different purposes, different input devices, etc.

Wish that apple has some sort of indication light ( not the camera flash) to notify the iPhone user of missed calls/messages etc without switching on the phone screen.

AnonD-9023, 23 May 2015Isn't this same as what Google did with Kitkat almost one and half year back.Difference is that kitkat actually made your device better.

If history is a guide, iOS 9 will undoubtedly be a stealth malware update from Apple that will make your device lag, have worse battery life, and crash apps more frequently.

                            Enjoy your timely updates, Applesexuals!
