Previously I said Z2 & Z3 users needed not apply. However seeing this beautiful design, and if Sony offer trade-in program for Xperia users, why not take it? Possible caveat: Sd810 impact on battery life compared to Sd801. If Sony manage to pull it off, giving comparable battery life, then they have a winner.

Xperia Z3 screen is good, but when side by side compare with Samsung note 4, I just cant convince myself to buy xperia...

i use galaxy s5, iphone 5s and xperia z ultra. sony always delivers latest updates faster than samsung. i really like sony design and everything but seriously xperia z1, z2, z3 r like exact same phone. i dont see a reason to upgrade from z3 to so called z3+. But i still want them to keep making new phones every 6 months so that i can get the z2 cheaper. lol

i really dont get it. sony's design was far better than of samsung (since the original Z), maybe equal of htc(subjective). from the comments, i can clearly see 70% were samsung fanatics who were blinded by the hype and slowly becoming sheeps as well. 20% gave good feedback and 10% probably had bad experience with sony. guys, what samsung did this year is already a past by sony! from hardware to software UI design! LOL! look at what marketing did to you. geez! everyone was dying for a lasting battery and sony delivered. way better than anyone and no one of u freaking fanatics gave credit.

Yes like others say, please please make a Z3+ compact, but keep the battery size like it is :) Oh and a metal backside, The glas backside dont work with my sticky holder in my car :(

Although I am currently using the S6 Edge and Nexus 6, my upgrade is due in October with Vodafone so barring a new Sony to coincide with the release of the upcoming Bond film will be getting this phone! Keeping my S6 Edge but selling the N6 at that time!!

The only thing missing is QHD and with the battery drain on the phones with QHD screens, that is no bad thing! Hardware, screen, build quality, design, software optimisation up on the Z3 would put this above most phones out there. Take that from a Galaxy S6 Edge user!

what worries the most in this phone is the proven poor power inefficiency of Snapdragon 810. Lets wait for the reviews how this one performs against HTC One M9.
All I wish is Sony makes their next flagship i.e, Xperia Z4 global or whatever(Z5 may be) should not thin down itself further. In fact 7.8-8.5 is perfect thickness for me, this way theu will have more space for better hardware and bigger battery. Also, please reduce the top and bottom bezel Sony.

They previously announced that they were going to a yearly cycle for their phones, so this is nothing new. This is a half-refresh, but it has some decent improvements. If I needed a phone now I'd take a good look at this, but since I don't need one now, I'll wait until September when the next full update will probably come.

Apple make a new USB (only 100$ extra) and calls the phone "Air" and all the world is impressed..
Sony put new processor in,a better camera and call it + ... fail.

In fact, what it needs is a good software. Probably it has a better camera software than z3, hence takes better pictures. Wait for the reviews to come. Meanwhile, HTC one m9 has a camera that is even worser than the 2 year old iPhone 4S

More powerfull chipser worse battery and after few minutes Snapdragon 810 performes worse then 801 due to thermal thottling...next please...stay with Z3 :)
