Anonymous, 29 May 2015A normal(semi-expensive) dslr is like 20 mp or something,so I don`t understand why you need 41... moreeven the 'old' lumia 930/1520 have better camera's as samsung and lg, tests already proof this. the 20Mp will be a better updated version of the 930/1520 camera so will even be much better as the lg/samsung/apple.

No Matter, 28 May 2015I really doubt that Carl Zeiss makes lenses for Nokia-Microsoft phones. Probably they have an ... moreCZ logo should not be mandatory. Otherwise, every other OEMs that employed/employs Sony cameras on their phones should have some Sony logo or something. Perhaps the Sony G Lens logo if they were/are using Sony G Lens

Anyway i think LG and Samsung did a good job in camera departament this year and I think they will be hard to surpass.

Lets hope there will be a new PureView flagship soon. I think it's mostly about the sensor size, but I also need the +41MP. My Lumia 930 is really bad compared to my many year old 808 PureView.

Cool, I hope they make one that has a red back cover! I miss the red colors on Lumia.

MdN8, 28 May 2015No. PureView imaging technology was developed by Nokia people, most of them work for Microsoft... moreI really doubt that Carl Zeiss makes lenses for Nokia-Microsoft phones. Probably they have an agreement as Nokia-Microsoft makes those lenses by themselves and Carl Zeiss takes part in it by designing them for the particular model. And then they put CZ logo besides.
Nokia-Microsoft has number of phones that don't have CZ logo by the lanses.

Anonymous, 28 May 2015I dunno either. Isn't PureView technology Carl Zeiss's? Need helpNo. PureView imaging technology was developed by Nokia people, most of them work for Microsoft now, one of them is in Apple. Carl Zeiss makes lenses, or designs and approves them. And Nokia/Microsoft don't use any Sony camera parts.

Smile, 28 May 2015While talking about others, may I ask about the camera on OTHER LUMIA's? are they all same?... moreIt's "Lumias" not "Lumia's" and my point still stands. That guy was talking about some camera competition between Lumias and "Androids" while only taking flagships into account. So it's all or none both ways.

Will not replace my nokia 1020 except with an equal or better camera phone, even if I have to switch to Android.

Boy!!! We Finally have a know cell pH makes equiping their device with the Brilliant USB Type C!
And its not surprising because they microsoft had the 3rd highest number of dedicated engineers(16, versus apples 17, Intel about 26!) Who worked with the USB implementors forum in its development!

Hello MS, where do I send my advance booking cheque for the XL model please!!!

Try not to treat new Lumia models, especially upcoming ones, as... moretechnically its the same people who made the 1st lumia and the current and future ones...microsoft buy phone division of nokia not the brand or design

930 still looks good choice half the price 940. Battery is the main difference.
