read some more details on another site. this is the technical preview going out to mi4 users as they are good at giving feedback, so they are going to help with making windows 10 better. it will override the android with the preview, but can be flashed back to android at anytime. (not dual boot)

Nice! It can now run MIUI, CyanogenMod and Windows 10. Great for people who want to experiment. I believe this is the future, buy a phone first, choose your favourite ROM later.

Wow, one of the only things I missed from Android when I switched to wp8 was custom rom abilities, now... Windows10...A ROM???

i really like the move, it will be well received by geeks and people who are willing to give windows a shot with their mi4. i would also recommended win 10 rom for one plus one.
