I work in a mobile repair center (dealing with 10,000 phone repairs a week).
By far the Samsung batteries are the worst out there(due to the phones and how they charge not the actual battery).
Samsung has a 15%faulty battery ratio on faulty phones, all other manufacturers are under 0.5 -1%.
Also by far the highest percentage of burnt/exploded phones, for this reason I'd never own one.
As for general part quality, blackberry are worst followed by Samsung.
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2015Samsung is not a company that wants to celebrate success and that's good.OK .. how do you know it ? And what abt their chest thumping before?
JThom, 01 Jun 2015Did you even bother reading the link I posted, Samsung denying the sales are bad? off course they deny and cover its poor sales as long as possible ...
They said the samething for S5, if you have a bit of brain you can understand it !!!
Samsung should have offered Waterproofing,Removable Battery & Micro Sd Card Slot on the Galaxy S6,but the Samsung design team just had the iPhone 6 in there Minds,Just because Samsung are now Supplying Chips for Apple, thats why Apple have not been to court banning the Galaxy S6 in Different countries,Samsung as really disappointed a lot of Galaxy phone uses with Galaxy S6 after the Galaxy S5,an will they do the same with the Note 5,as this could be the phone that sorts Samsungs future out

Because when you sell the most number of phones than anyone including Apple, there are more chances of freak accidents. Plus exploding batteries aren't just Samsung's problem, it's reported by every other makers, especially the flood of fake batteries that are manufactured in China.

They should at least wait until Samsung announces their sales figures on June 3. The report... moreSales had been really bad is the one reason why samsung is not announcing the figures.
If sales has been good , samsung will be chest thumping abt it.
They should at least wait until Samsung announces their sales figures on June 3. The reports of Samsung S6 poor sales are way too premature. Samsung hasn't said anything about their sales of S6 phone because they wanted to avoid the same debacle with the S5 in which they cited shipment numbers prematurely, then saw its sales figures unable to match the shipment numbers last year - totally embarrassing the company. Samsung is being extra careful with the numbers this time. Yesterday, Samsung spokesman said the S6 sales are on target and that it's selling over 305,000 S6's per day, much better than the S5 and S4 sold.
Harmonica, 01 Jun 2015point to be noted here is MOST If you google galaxy s battery explode and iPhone battery explode, you'll see more unintentional exploding batteries from the iPhone camp.
