But many people uSing iphone 6.
Problem is Samsung completely lost china and japan market.

If Oppenheimer is such a non important company why would... moreIt did happen to Apple with their 5s, people with the 5 and even 4 did not upgrade to the 5S like Apple thought, then they finally made a bigger iPhone and their customer base ate them up do to the bigger screen, the 6s will not sell as well as the 6, it's the nature of the beast.

These banks and analysts need to get with reality, the smartphone market is over saturated, people don't upgrade their 1 or two year old phone like they used to, because even phones from 3 years ago still do everything that a new shiny smartphone will do, no reason to upgrade. Same thing happened to Apple and the iPhone with the 5s, people with the 5 had no reason to upgrade, heck even with the iPhone 6 out I still see most iPhone users still use the iPhone 5.
I am a FHV driver and 70% of my Pax are iPhone users "who always ask if I have a charging cable for their phone because it is running low on juice" and most upgrade only because their phones batteries have hit a wall, and have no choice but to upgrade, a customer the other day said to her friend that her battery dies much faster, and her male friend said that's the reason most people upgrade, reason is phones batteries last two years if that before they hit a wall, he also said that's the reason Apple makes their phones with non replaceable batteries "so people have no choice but to buy the latest model", Samsung saw what Apple was doing and figured that's the only way for them to force people to go the upgrade route every two years, since they realized that people with S4 where still happy with their devices and had no reason to upgrade, just buy a fresh battery and your phone is as good as new.

i think only small amount of people would choose S6 over S5.

Iv been to a couple of countries in the last 3 months and i always see the s6/edge in peoples hands the same goes with the iphone.Just dont know how.

joe sHmoe, 01 Jun 2015I just find this hard to believe.So do I. I was thinking whether if Samsung not doing well has to do with their current chairman, Lee Kun-Hee, struggling with his health. His son will likely replace him as chairman soon. I hope his son can lead Samsung to a better path.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2015Yes the note series rocks.I, too, find Note series rocks. However, some people find that stylus very helpful when doing school works and home works while some feel that stylus does not seem to help, that they prefer using Note with their hands.
I think Note 3 and Note 4 are cool.
I also think S series is as good as Note.
One thing I think Note series should change, make the bace cover metal or glass-like rather than leather....some prefer leather while some metal.

If Oppenheimer is such a non important company why would anyone bother paying them to say what they say?? Use your brain. And to be fair they're right, growth is down 50% year on year, it's the big crunch, it'll happen to Apple one day too, but for today it's Samsung.

sammy, 01 Jun 2015who is investment bank Oppenheimer to publish these loads of rubbish! quick check of their bac... moreExactly right, and the statement of one paragraph perfectly describes most of apples history... no improvement of user experience from the last generation..Oh, maybe an extra icon, that is, till the last 2 generations forced, by samsung and android, i5 screen, and i6 screen and software. The differentiating factor of apple is , their money/media control now that's an exiting customer equation. If all media were silenced for every phone, ie zero stories for anyone, good or bad, all the big overbearing apple signs were taken down in the phone areas of every shop, to give everyone fair and equal presence (Note the reason phones4you aren't here any more.) , the magazine stores were made to give equal presence to rival phone magazines publication, instead of burying them away , whilst prominently placing every apple one practicality up your nostrils, then , each phone would stand on its own merit, but now , well, apple rule, and I don't mean because of their product, I mean their product Pr and placement. They are masters at what they do, and there is no way back from their position. They could run their business on interest alone and no profit from now on, and it would still stay where it is, in the public perception of it, like em or not , they're shrewd cookies. (Could vlad prasad or samir please check if this comment fits in with their apple ethic please.)
