Samsung always tried to improve the user experience adding new features every new flagship that the company has launched, and the users always say "dispensable features, we want clean software"; and now that Samsung gave a beautiful flagship with a fluid and clean interface, the people want new software features? Ah man! Give Samsung a break!
I think bank is not considering S6 edge, i think people are buying S6 edge than S6. I know six of my friends bought s6 Edge and i haven't seen s6 in my group circle, so it make sense.
Um.... Bs? They didn't radically overhaul the software, but it's been refined, enhanced, new aesthetics, themes, and simplified.
On top of the best hardware around.
And a metal frame is not an iPhone thing. Nor is the S6's like the iPhone.
What a load of crap. In that sense of it all the phones have barely enhanced software that much.
The price is affecting their sales. 1000 euros for the 64GB version S6 Edge. Also, in my opinion, the real flagship of Samsung will always be the Note series.
Fair point. I would say this trend might continue untill they release a flexible device which will add another level of inputs or another level of ui that could be of use. Very difficult to materialize this idea though...
I would also go as far as to say that this will probably trend is other brands as well. Where can smartphones go from here? I think smartphones are nearing the limits of development.
AnonD-383187, 01 Jun 2015Every new Android phone is still using buggy Android OS.Sadly for you. You still live back in 2009.....
Its really sad to see a company like (apple) that rips people off buy selling a phone with outdated Software and hardware for $800 and $1000 and selling over 50 million. While a tech marvel with the best screen, camera, cpu, and fast and very customizable software selling less....
This shows how the industry is f**ed up.
What else can you expect. Touch UI sucks, S6 & Edge is priced way too high and any Samsung phone you buy ends you lagging after 3 months of usage. They should stick to native android as they will end up reducing the price of the hardware as well as getting best of user experience! Hope Samsung is listening!
Samsung is a very big name to rely only on smartphone division. But, like Sony sadly, they have to cut their loses in the future.
samsung never learn, they made the phone look classier but by no means more durable, i would still not think glass is more durable than glass, plus, removing the SD card, n removable battery, made samsung lose it stong points, i have played with S6 edge, n with all this power, why does the homescreen lag while scrolling in n out of the news panel at the right, samsung made touchwizz looks not too bad, but still can't design some clean icons, damn i hate these old squarish caller n msg icons with a passion, damnn u samsung.
this is true and these big companies like samsung sony htc make amazing devices far far better hardware than apple but they don't manage to sell near as many devices together as apple does only because of their software experiences and support which apple is consistent with year after year. I believe if they try to improve on their customer services and provide services to their users they can do much better than apple.
I agree, Samsung has managed to sport the best hardware topping other brands, but its slowness firmware update really disapoints the customers.
