Going to sell my g3 this week, used 10 months, TRY to love it all time, were silly enough followed other users signed the list for bootloader over xda to beg LG, it just too late, too slow, too low in quality, too LG!... Amen to your users

Almost all operating systems have bootloaders of some sort. This low-level code contains the instructions that tell a device how to start up and find the system kernel. Every time your phone starts up, that bootloader code is telling your device what to do in order to get you to the home screen. With an unlocked bootloader, you can run custom ROMs, modified Operating Systems (Android) or even a different O/S altogether, like running Windows 10 on the G4 ;)
