Sony just announced 5.1 for Z series in July and even older M2 will get it. Samsung starting to suck with updates, too many phones.

OK you experts do you think Android will fall over itself like Symbian did. Don't forget we are at a near limit in computing power in these things albeit only mobile O/S but CPU/GPU/RAM are already pretty potent in these flagships. Did changing from Dalvik to ART do anything substantial. The Nexus S is now unuseable apparently due to updates etc leaving few KB RAM and enough room in storage for one song that's it. I grew up with Symbian and XP and these things were asked so much of them that were never intended to do they fell over. I am no expert but asking is Android in favour of keeling over itself. Thanks for any replies.
