My Z Ultra had become slow and laggy earlier when I updated to Lollipop 5.0, it all turned fine after I did a full data/factory reset and following up with re-installation of all apps, data and settings, Z Ultra is back to running smooth and responsive, sporting Lollipop!

Just received Lollipop for my Z, it's smooth af, no problem what so ever so far, no battery drain like 4.4, probably best update since 4.2, still, it's all to polished and clear! Needs to get used to

It is nice to see a phone manufacturer that still cares about their phones that are more than 2 years old (another example is Apple).

Normally to updates from Sony are smooth and stable (better to polish the firmware first and release late than early).

Great to hear that my Z1 Compact will *eventually* get Android 5.1 but so far I'm still waiting for Android 5.0 to roll out to it and I have no high hopes for an Android M rollout to happen before the next version is already announced.

So right now I'm a bit grumpy with Sony for that.

Samsung is still rolling out Lollipop for it's older devices btw, Galaxy S4 has the Lollipop update.

But I'm too fed up with waiting for manufacturers to update their devices. I got a Nexus phone now.
