You can send the apps to the SD card on this one. (lollipop 5.0 on the Xperias)
Preinstalled apps consuming 2.06 gb?
it forces people who want more storage to go ahead and pay more for the higher end products
My old xperia p running on jelly bean (not rooted) can transfer apps to internal phone memory. There were few that cannot be transferred, but most can be. It works that way for Sony using app2sd.I have my asphalt8 on my internal memory and it is running without a flaw.
well no problem at all. the lollipop has been beautifully customized in M4 Aqua and since in india 16 GB model is available, so I won't bother about it all! A beautiful product made by the most dependable company!
And this is why Sony are crap at phones. Sorry Sony. but you just not a patch on Apple or Even Samsung. Even they both hand more base memory to start off.
What is the point on a phone with less than 10% user memory available. shocking.
Cenas, 08 Jun 2015In the early days of Android, phones would have 512MB internal memory if you were lucky. My old LG Optimus One had 200MB!
PKC, 08 Jun 2015Whichever region it is. But still 1.26GB of usable memory is too low. Those was the earlier da... moreIn the early days of Android, phones would have 512MB internal memory if you were lucky.
AnonD-217131, 08 Jun 2015And people are complaining about Windows Phone, lol. Out of 8 GB devices you get 4.5 GB of ... moreBiased ignorants...what can you expect?
And Sony are wondering why their sales are low?
The 16GB model isn;t available in my country, so there's no other storage option.
I just hope that Sony will ultilize the internal storage (4 GB for the Android system!?), maybe allow the users to delete some native Google apps, like what Samsung did.
Or just root it
Totally felt annoyed from Sony, I was waiting for This phone for Almost 6 month, in the end nothing special But sad for me, I Really like to get a Sony with Dual Sim card, But since z2 z3,All Dual Sim version not available at Singapore And Malaysia ~ Sony are you trying to kidding me right !!!
AnonD-246216, 08 Jun 2015I'm surprised that we haven't even moved on to 32gb as standard for every device. 32gb storage... morethe first 32gb smartphone was nokia n97 launched in dec '08; but it was after first iPhone launched. anyway it still the first 32gb as iPhone only launched its first on 3gs
That is too little space internal storage, why still do this ?
And people are complaining about Windows Phone, lol.

I think user can save all aplication in sd card because xperia m4 aqua sistem is lollipop,so don't worry about that
SNAA, 08 Jun 2015Oh no . I need to survey another phone. 1.26GB is too small . You still can buy 16GB variant
dumb phone.... lol
After putting the price on expensive side they pull the 8 GB stunt
There was a time when the world was moving forward and coming up with Dual core and quad core CPU's, and then the ram started to expand, while this was happening Nokia was sticking to useless CPU and Ram combinations... and eventually lost their ground. Now the history seems to repeat itself with Sony. they are also making the same mistakes... as a user of Z3, i implore you Sony, to get your act together and PLEASE start making devices that we once used to be proud of.
