I think it's a great device and overall I love it. Battery leaks? Who says? I've had mine for 3 weeks now and no battery probs at all. Actually, after 24 hours no problem with battery power still above 60%. My only bitch is that I can't upload my video to Facebook which is a real bummer. That's the main reason I got it was to upload to social media and have a big screen to use internet properly. Otherwise this would be a great device if I could get the permissions fixed. Mine is rooted but I still can't seem to change read/write permissions with ES File Explorer. We'll see....but I don't want to waste tons of time tweaking this.
After a week living together with Lenovo phab plus I have to say that return to something less than 6.8 inches is impossible.
Is little bigger than 6's but what it offers less eye fatigue and that is is incredible. It is super small for a tablet and not too large to use as a main phone.
The processing power of the processor is very good for an average user although the is at midrange. After four successive upgrades of firmware the camera corrected and now shoots perfect pictures. The almost stock Android environment plays very smoothly and without stuttering.
The available memory of 2 Gbyte is between 0.9 to 1.1 gigabytes.
In 4G network plays very well and can easily be switched from one card to another and of course it turns the other sim card to 2G.
Battery although it is only 3.500 milliamperes it has incredible autonomy Despite the huge screen.
However, it gives me much more autonomy of my samsung note4 and the my Asus zenfone 2.
Now compared p8 max ( that I lived with for 2 weeks and turn it back cause the battery was not charging ) Lenovo Phab Plus has half price and offers almost the same but the most important of all is that it supports the band 20 at 800 MHz, something that p8 max does not support and it is very important for 4G coverage in europe.
Wrapping up I will say that the only thing I am missing is the dual SIM Full active feature that my Asus Zen fone 2 and P8 Max have.
I wish Lenovo at near feature to bring us one Ph ablet in Hi-End category that features a a huge screen of 6.8 inches.
Interesting that this is happening as we have heard of the P8 max...which is...oh no...also 6.8 inches, with a 13 mp rear camera and is Full HD. Nooooo...this is a new product, hahaha :D
I,think must better Battery mAh4,500 and 3 or 4 Ram camera 16 mp rear/Front camera 8 mp better used for the people
Lenovo, who wants a 6.8 inch phablet with leaking batteries?! Hehehe
Genius, 10 Jun 2015My Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro with 6" screen and 4000mah battery lasts about 2~3 days with heavy ... moreWrong!!!
QHD eats up ALOT of power.
Even if you set the brightness and resolution to its lowest settings, a 4000 mAH battery can only last for 3 to 4 days.
Factor in the heat loss and other usage, there's no way it can reach 10 days even if you set AIRPLANE MODE ON and do NOT use it, it will only last for a week or less.
So if phone companies put up a device with metal casing it is copying already??? Then Samsung, Sony, Apple etc should be ashamed that they copied Motorola for having a mobile handheld phone.
lol none of yall getting any money from any other these companies but ya'll on here arguing about their products? Very foolish I think. Ya'll need to take all the attention ya'll paying to these companies and their products and apply it to your own efforts to create a product or service that you can sell to make your own money.

Wow, is it china iphone 6+ clone? Now every phone company is doing metal body like apple product ( iphone ).
Last time they all used to plastic body phone. Now become metal body like iphone. If you shame for copying of apple's idea, you should cut your face by knife.
i quess they did not find smaller battery, all baterry producers selling it to Samsung,HTC,Apple and other brand name competitors, so they had to go with this "big one"?
i read that people in asia is generally lower then world average, so can someone explain me what's the deal with all that phablets?
i mean, you can't find chinese flagship smaller then 5'5 inch screen, and now even that is small!?
