Would love to see Note 5 with Edgy screen, you?

I am still looking forward to Sd 820, hoping it can close the gap and put a serious challenge to Exynos. Then again Samsung could launch an even better Exynos.
Either way, consumers win. P.S of course if Samsung don't play nasty by asking exorbitant price for example...

Had it for about 6 weeks now, still on stock ROM, not rooted, and it's REALLY fast. No lag whatsoever. The Exynos 7420 is the best SoC of 2015, miles ahead of the SD 810. Also, I don't think the Nexus 6 was that big of a success. Don't see it much if at all. Screen has burn in problems, and the size is just ridiculous. Way too big, even for me, and I have big hands. I think 5.5-5.7" is right where it's at. And I hope it stays there.

Nice specs. Samsung should consider making a pair of Note 5 & Note 5 Plus, the latter with increased dimension. Why not 6-incher flagship?
Another thing, I am not clear about Qualcomm, however if they manage to launch Sd 820 on time, perhaps Samsung will have two chipsets choice again.

I am more concerned about the processor as real life performance of S6 is really disappointing. It still lags besides achieving no.1 postion in almost all speed tests.

USB C is Brilliant, the Best thing to happen to a port!
6" Display is perfect.
Non 3K Display is a Wise Choice, honestly 1080 is good enough -saves battery, easy to mirror with our current 1080p TVs. I am using the larger Z Ultra 6.4" 1080p display -its resolution feels plenty enough on the larger unit!
4,1000 Battery is Commendable. Only hope that Sammy makes good sense by launching a dual Sim Ver for Developing Nations(India).

7.9mm is awful thin for a removable battery, but not impossible. The Galaxy Alpha is 6.7mm and it has a removable battery.

Still holding out hope...

I think Samsung is making a big mistake by increasing the screen size to 5.9". The 5.7" on Note 3 and 4 is already overkill. The device shouldn't be larger than it was in previous iterations. It was a good size. For humongous devices, there's the Mega line. I hope it stays 5.7".

I still think it is going to be a challenge for Note 5 when Apple released iPhone 6s. Last year I thought Note 4 would keep up with iPhone 6s. No matter what I am confident Note 5 will do much better when it faces iPhone 6s this fall.

Instead of wishing for something to top an actually useful Phablet, we bitch about Samsungs eccentric behavior in the marketplace. Wow what a generation of wannabe tech nuts.
