And that guy said he would buy it if it was cheaper. He doesn't even know that Samsung phones are known to lag and starts badmouthing companies which sell more phones than his beloved brands Sony. Most of all he presumes that anything that comes from China is not worth buying for even $300 but probably has no idea that most phones are made in China. People like that shouldn't be allowed to comment.

Yes it is cheap simpy because the price is heavily subsidized by Chinese hackers and backdoor viruses. If you're wise, stay away from China phonese.

In case you didn't know: 410 is ten times slower than 801... moreWell i think u r the only one who know it..read the comment again..i compared the fones for the brand value they have n the image in customers eye..get out of your cave n go to a local mobile store there you l get to know how important these factors are..people buy smartphones by keepin them side by side n askin about their features..n the first one always is about the camera..try explainin them that it performs faster n then tell them if the fone is designed to take part in olympics 100m...no still your fone wont beat bolt..the thing u cant understand is by slashing the price further down to 16k they have the chance to steal some of the samsung sony customers as well..for example..i want to buy e7 n its perfect for me..but now xiaomi mi4 is available for 18k n 20k..y wud i consider a inferior brand even if m gettin somethin i dn need..but if its cheaper than e7 then i might get interested in it thinknin okk..chineese but cheaper..n for you just tell y xiaomi launched mi4i..cuz mi4 dint do well in india for the very same reasons i mentioned..and that AUPER(everyone knows wat it is except some who are required to taught everything in detail) AMOLED screen is perfect for a fone costin 17k n to outclass mi4s display IN CUSTOMERS EYES.

What do you mean by "butter smooth display" ? Who are you to judge what people want? You think people are too foolish not to understand the difference between a snapdragon 801 and a 410 processor or between a quality and a cheap Chinese brand? Xiaomi is a quality Chinese brand, not one of those cheap ones we had five years ago.

Mi 4's camera as most critics say is better than one plus one. And about the display,it is a matter of preference. Mi 4 is more compact and suitable for one hand use. One plus one is good for watching videos. Display quality is better on Mi4 however.
