I think even a 720p screen wouldn't help that heatdragon 810 from melting. I hope sony won't go with a 810 on it's newest Z Compact.
camera department should be upgraded at LG G4 level...
Battery capacity is key...most devices these days flagship or midrange seem to perform really well. So for me it comes down to battery capacity and replaceability, storage capacity plus SD card slot, Camera quality with OIS, and how compact or screen to body ratio...75+%. Oh to some extent price...but will pay the about $600 price if spec are right.
The pointless 2k screens being constantly powered overheats the 810, at 1080p don't see why it would overheat, also they have had a lot if time to fix the heating issues.
OnePlus 2 (You get a phone along with afree fry-pan from SD810)
Maybe Qualcomm switched 810 production to Samsung 14nm FinFET.
Using the 810 is incredibly stupid. Why? To have the latest and greatest? Sometimes the latest isn't the best. I have the G3, and this thing over heats like hell. EVEN when my phone is at 0% brightness with just 1 app running in the background (SoundCloud) its ridiculous.
I hope the mid ranger one plus 1.5 does not have the other hot cousin 615
[deleted post]Not a well thought out comment. You do know the price difference right? If people could afford the Apple they wouldn't probably be buying a 300 Euro phone.
Why s810? Unless they are going to feature some kind of special cooling for this damned soc, it will still overheat and cause trouble.
