I got an LG G4 the beginning of August 2015. It was recommended y the phone shop as having a fantastic camera. Maybe it has but it also appears to DELETE the photos when it feels like it. Photos from 2 special trips just disappeared - snap! just like that. Also if I have not been using the phone and a call comes in, because the screen has locked itself it won't let me answer the call or cancel it - it just locks. This is my first LG phone - it will be my last too. Also since buying the phone I wanted a new TV but was unsure which brand to get. Friends suggested LG but considering the problems I've had with the phone I decided on a different brand.

It is true and not a few people has been experiencing this. is LG taking ACTION?
I am surprised that after a few months or weeks there's still no announcement on LG for this issue. It's happening to LG users all around the globe so you cannot blame it on Regional users it's is happening on the Unit. WHAT THE HECK AARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT LG!

pls. help me. when i make a call through my lg g4, the moment i press the call icon, my phone's screen shots off but my call keep going. the problem is i can't end my call unless the phone i am calling ends the call. also i can't end my call just in case i change my mind in making that call. what will i do?

I just got my LG G4 today. I had an LG G2 and loved it. I thought the G4 would be a good choice since I couldn't quite afford the G5. I was wrong, wish I had done more research because it seems that there is a common problem I see from other people.
I got my phone and went to open an app, it froze. I could not power the phone off or restart. I had to take the battery out and put it back in. I tried to open an app, it froze again. I took it back to the AT&T store and showed the sales reps. They told me if it keeps acting up, bring it back and get a new one since it's under warranty.
I brought it home, letting it charge on the way and it was only to 40% I try using it again and this time I got to do a little app arranging, a little browsing on the internet and.....it froze again. I had to pop the battery out and put it back in. I looked at the battery charging progress when it was charged to 61% and it said it still had an estimated 6+ hours to charge fully. Then.....the phone froze again. I took the battery out and noticed it has a small dent in it. I looked up whether that can cause problems and I found that it should not be used with a dented battery because of fire or explosion hazard. Plus, when it's charging or being used, the battery and phone got pretty warm.
I seen several people say to try updating the OS, I see some saying it IS the OS.
Either way, I'm not happy and wished I'd just kept my G2, at least it worked.

I spoke to LG so many times and was hoping they would repair it since the phone was still under the 15 months of the build date (that is how long the warranty is supposed to last). However, I bought my phone brand new off of eBay.So LG would not honor the warranty since I did not but it directly from them or a cellular provider, such as Verizon. I had to buy a new phone and now I have a $300 paperweight. So my advice is, if you have your receipt (which they ask for), they will probably repair it. Good luck! I have sworn not to buy another LG product again. I went back to Samsung.

l have lg g4 and l have getting many problem on this device but now l found the solution to solve it its working perfectly.no fast battery drainage.no heating.the problem comes after l update the lg g4 software from 5.1 to 6.0.I downgrade the software using lgup flashtool and l download the 5.1 kdz file to flash it its working 100% and good than ever

Using Lg G4 since Oct 2015.was happy Worked well till Marshmallow updated on Feb 1st 2016. Now since Last few days of march n April had Multiple screens pops ups Suddenly volume goes up dwn along with automatic changes in sim seclections. Took to service center they said used for a day nothing happened. Format n resets done many time but no use.

Hi to everyone.
I've just bought my Lg G4. It was second time, and the same issue. I don't know what I have to do
I see touch grid on bright wallpapers and colors, mostly bright like white bright blue etc. It's annoying because it's second time that I have the same problem, earlier lg was resend. SN is 602 and 1.1 version. This is visible under the sun and off screen. Lines are mostly horizontal when we hold phone vertically.
This is problem with original foil protector or new G4 have problem with that?

This has been a nightmare for me and trying to operate my business!!! Touch-screen does not work with tapping! Battery life is very problematic!!! Will never by LG ever again!

i just bought Lg G4 yesterday and within minutes noticed that touch screen sometimes does not respond to touch or back power button. Always on will turn off and than it is impossible to wake up the phone without plugging into power source. If anyone knows the solution please let me know.

Bought the phone . after 3 weeks of use suddenly half screen would stop displaying or get stuck with whatever dsplay is on. Sent back for warranty came back after 8 days with same problem. Worst exp. Will never buy lg in life

I am really disappointed with my G4 LG H818P.
The screen freezes. The phone freezes completely and I have no choice but to remove the battery. LG does not respond to my emails. And will no doubt excuse that the guarantee does not work that I bought my camera during a trip to Hong Kong. The Manner in which they will treat the problem with me will determine my relationship with the brand. If I have to throw the garbage phone 400 € after only 2 months of use is that LG does not care about its customers.

This phone is the worst phone ever. For a "premium" phone LG missed the mark. Since November the mainboard was replaced twice. Phone heated up to 48.7 degrees Celsius or 119.6F. Howcan a phone use 30% of its battery life in 3 hrs while idle. Prior to the latest Android update the phone had decent battery life. So if I need to use the phone for a day I need to carry two batteries. I am done with LG. Rather than addressing the G4's issues, LG's decision to release the G5 has to be questioned. LG and my Canadian carrier are passing the buck. I am done with LG. I urge current G4 users stay away from the G5.

Just warrantee ordered my second LG G4,
Almost the same problem, This time it super heated the screen was very hot more at the top quarter of screen, The LG start up screen came up and was stuck on it, Pulled Battery and went back to LG start screen then Verizon then back to LG Screen and no boot. Resorted to a System restore, The droid robot came up for 2 seconds then back to the LG screen. About 12 tries later I got a factory reset which took 6 hours, every thing worked and started to load apps back in, did a restart and went back into the LG boot screen, After the system restore would not work at all, New replacement will be here overnight, Will reluctantly get the LG G5 next month, #1 feature for me is removable Battery and is last phone on market for that. Hopefully LG has fixed the hardware issue.
