As a back-up to our family's four smartphones (one for each of us) I just bought a cheapo prepaid phone with better specs than this Kodak one on sale at a large American store for $4.99. These deals are pretty common in the U.S.
The sad thing is that I'm a photographer and in the course of my career have shot thousands and thousands of rolls of Kodak film (and still shoot a bit of film occasionally) so it's sad to see how out-of-touch Kodak continues to be in the digital age.
$315.00 for this phone. Really, Kodak???

Is crack cocaine legal in the Netherlands? Cuz you'd seriously have to be smoking it to pay $315 US dollars for Kodak's extremely low-end phone. For less money you could buy a 64GB OnePlus One.

Sorry, but the specs are horrible... Even if this was priced like some cheap low spec phone, I just don't see it being popular. To many alternatives, except maybe in the Netherlands?

Seems to be cool specs but im interested in the weight. Next year all option are open when it comes to a new phone so who knows Kodak is gonnan be the winner for me.-))

Kodak think they have a chance of success with an overpriced, underspec'd device that is running on KitKat? Dumb. They are writing themselves into the history books with these kinds of devices.

Wondering what's salary of all those 50 years experience + 5 university degrees CEOs, who are making so obviously dumb decisions. Like put 1 gig ram in 2015 phone Kodak, put 810 chip knowing they have heating issues Sony, HTC, make super expensive phone with the same specs blackberry q10 vs Q20, etc.etc
