Overall performance is similar to Adreno 330. Not bad but thet's what OnePlus One already has. Theoretically Exynos 7420 is some alternative but Samsung doesn't seem eager to sell it (it's also pretty difficult to optimize).

People complaining about the GPU for Intel are just Snapdragon fanboys and don't have any facts to back them up.

See Atom Z3580 used in Zenphone 2, it's paired with PowerVR G6430 which is used by Iphone 5s. It produce around the same power as Adreno 330. But of course powerVR GPU performed better in Apple chipset since it's optimize for apple.

CODE + DEV SUPPORT is bad yes but not that GPU. The part is just a step lower than what Apple uses in their A8 line, currently still is arguably the planet's most top performing mobile SoC.
And only a dumb Chinese OEM today would want to only stay/focus in China when they have production lines ready to ship internationally at this point.

If I was the head of OnePlus, I wait 2-3 months for Mediatek X20 or go for MT 6595 which is X10.

MTK is much better solution, even the do not giv their kernel source.
