Moto X 2013 starts getting Android 5.1 in US, Brazil and Canada Comments

Updated about 5 -7 days ago. Post update have reset device + cleared all cache.
Love all the features, especially Moto Voice.
Concerns :
1) Very poor battery life.
2) Phone somehow seems slower, especially the Keyboard. hell slow. Plus no swipe to type :(

I am in UK and updated my Moto X 1st Gen to 5.1 without factory reset two days ago. Everything seems better, i.e. sensor responsiveness, new UI, fluidity and contralised Moto services. I have used my phone for jogging (GPS and bluetooth connection with my headset and Pebble) twice and do not have any issues so far. I do not feel better battery life though.

Highly recommended NOT to update...I am regretting. Completely lost the fluid experience of 4.4. I wish I could roll back?

Moto G 4G 1st gen has a wider 5.1 rollout than Moto X 1st gen, yet gsmarena didn't post any news about it? Shame.

Soak test started in India.. I got the 5.1 update on 20th July! 688mb... No bugs yet... Working smooth.. Pretty cool so far

US FINALLY got this update. woow. and it's actually butter smooth. I did the usual wipe cash from recovery and storage and so far is really nice. feels like a completely different phone. all notifications look the same on the active display feature. that's good I guess for consistency.
