The moment i saw... morehi Shashank I got my phone imported from korea, and I am unable to install the update. it is getting downloaded but its not getting installed. did u face any issue with the installation?

By the time i update into 5.1.1 My galaxy s6 is getting hang and if u notice the notification sound come again again for same msg u have to see the notification for stop the sound

This is the absolute worst software update I have ever experienced. I installed the 5.1.1 and now my S6 Edge is running very warm all the time and the battery get drained from 100% to 0% with 3 hours of very lite usage.

Its all great and i cant wait for my update here in UK BUT i really would like that firmware update for RAM!

Camera2 API is reported to be fully enabled now. The stock Samsung app however hasn't been updated to use all the features. 3rd party ones designed for Camera2 will be though. Shutter speed, RAW output, more ISO options.

Yeah mine is from Carphone unlocked (using O2) s6 edge 128gb (employee perks!)
It's updated on all our demo models too (G925X) so you should be getting it today :)

I actually got the update pushed from T-Mobile US a few days ago; maybe on the 18th, and my kernel is dated 6/11/2018

Just got my update funny checked thismorning and there was none so just been released. Got mine from Carphone warehouse factory unlocked.

Yeah my ram is running around 85% utalised has no effect on performance tho, 550MB free, 400MB cached and 1.7GB used for the OS.

What they don't realise is that 3 GB RAM is there for smooth and effortless multitasking and syncing. I own a Note but I just clear the RAM just once every day, mostly just for the satisfaction of seeing it. But Otherwise, there is no reason to do it. The cleared RAM will be used up again as processes start and this will lead to more Battery usage. Trust me, i have learned about Operating Systems.......

It seems Samsung loading all apps in memory so memory is full but apps are very responsive and fast. that's why its consuming a lot of memory. beside that Tw multi window feature is also reason for using a lot of RAM.

i also have the RAM issue, but can someone tell me how it affects them? because my S6 edge is still smooth, works well and pretty much plays all apps. I hear soo many people complaining about ram issue, but doesn't say a reason on how if affects their daily usage.
