Samsung earlier and monumental mistake was to make the Galaxy Alpha WITHOUT microSD, the Alpha was more of a match for the iPhone, but could not take sales away from Apple due to only 32GB onboard.
What the Alpha shows is that Samsung could make a phone with premium products and have a removable battery.
The problem is that S6 release is timed for the S4 who have completed a two year contract.
So how do you upgrade from a S4 to a S6 if you used a 64Gb card and the S6 starts at 32Gb.
The S6 is a great phone but not a typical Samsung flagship.

I don't believe what Samsung say. all thing Samsung said about ship quantity is base data ship to retailer. I think Samsung shall base quantity ship to end user. Aim marketing for S6 I think Samsung announcement quantity ship more ... even though S6/edge is best android phone with new design but price is so high compare HTC M9/LG G4.

I know honor 6 is a good phone but do you know what "high-end" means? There is no way it could compete with flagships of Samsung, Lg, Apple etc, unless you are OK with average performance for a flagship.

Where is samsung finding those S6/S6 edge buyers? people who have better galaxies (S3, S4, S5), or the best samsung phone out there (Note 4/Note edge) won't downgrade to S6/S6 edge just because of looks and losing so many critical features. Currently, the best android out there is the LG G4. So samsung should really take note!

Galaxy S6 Edge has much better battery life than iPhone6. And Note 4 has much better battery life than iPhone 6 Plus
