hi! i updated the S8000 jet but i had an error on the camera driver:( now when i press the camera button the phone is blocked for 30sec and restarts. any ideea what can i do?
i also tried this:
type *#6984125*#
then select INTERNALS
then tpye again *#9072641*#
then pres done-confrim-test mode
then press key -6(video)
then press key-3(camera update) but it showed me update firmware FAIL :(

i tried also the S8000XPJI7 still d same as S8000XEII2, nd there's lot of useless widgets..german this i think, hav anyone tried the latest S8000XEIK1?wats new with that?

i updated my jet from S8003JPIP4 to S8000XEII2, if u set the security the touchscreen becomes unstable ,for example set a password for "my files" then try the main menu icons its not responding..try it..nd u can't unlock using the touchscreen unlock key..is this a bug?

shame on you samsung! I would expect more support for this phone, but as I can see they don not give a shite on the costumers....
I just purchased a jet but I can see MANY MANY dissapointed users...

Seriously people, i`ve been changing my phone evry now and then .I still dunno why did i take this CRAP!! anyways , I bought Samung Jet S8003,and trust me the firmware is useless. I prefer the firmware they use it for S8000 that allows you to change your icon locations.Do have a thought to it and do as you prefer!!

You download the firmware from here:

It is not very hard and if you follow the instructions carefully, it will only take a few mins to successfully flash your Jet.
Btw, GSM arena should know that a newer firmware is available. The XPIJ7 is a October build than the older XEII2 which is a September build. I find the XPIJ7 much snappier than the XEII2, though i don't see any new features.

updated from S8003DDIF3 version(india) to the S8000XEII2. Its fast...just follow the steps in dark forest site.

S8000 and S8003 are the same phone and the firmware is compatible. But there are some model that are not, Read the thread please.
