I thought it will be one platform across all devices.

I think they are talking about next insider release. Last Windows insiders windows 10 for phone update required the phone to downgrade wp 8.1 first. Or wait for next release.
Windows 10 is releasing to 29 July and maybe there will be one final insider release before that for final bug squashing. Windows phone 10 release is expected to start rolling out from September or October.

It's actually the other way around. Best keyboards are physical ones (Blackberry), then Windows phone keyboard, iOS and Android. Windows phone keyboard is just superb. And it is also better looking than iOS and Android keyboards.

Let the Windows improve on their keyboard. It is very difficult to type on Windows phones.
Again, Internet is not so good on windows phones compared with Android and Iphones. Worst is the panning, that is, resizing when browsing.

If they worked on the "mobile phone" version, I wonder if they will allow the arm version, A.K.A. RT to have the same coding that can run, say, Surface 2...

Hey - Gabe was talking about candidates for the Insider programme.. so we should see new builds out for both Mobile n PC this week...there wouldnt be any diff to the July n September launch dates to the Final Builds..
