Anonymous, 27 Jun 2015Really? How come iPhone 4s has 512 MB and Dual Core but Apple Manage to update it to IOS 8 and... moreare you serious??? do you even know anything about coding. apple(iOS) is like hitler it dictates (closed and dependent OS) hence it does not need higher specifations to accept updated. Android on the other end is open source and lets you optimize the way you want. hence needs atleast 1GB ram to work. BTW iOS is designed by apple itself however Android is developed by Google and not by individual manufacturers. kids these days (facepalm)

I think for non-flagship phones people are better off buying brands like Xiaomi which offer way better hardware and support. Looks like Samsung doesn't care much about their low end devices.

Ace 4 is a low end kids phone. Not for grown adults, its a baby's toy so lollipop can't run on it. It has no power.

Don't expect updates for mid-range and budget devices. It is not a problem with Samsung devices. It's generally an Android problem. But Moto E, Moto G and Android One devices are an exception.
