And next xperia flag is coming with buttonless onscreen fingerprint scanner to avoid such hardware button problems and keep the ip rating...it ll be the best fp solution

1. even if their are on screen buttons for home screen e... moreLook Kid, I'm no fanboy, but I professionally and impartially analyze phones, so pay attention to what I'm writing:
1) Watching videos or playing games aren't the only things people do on smartphones. The UX can occupy the whole screen without the need for on-screen buttons. Moreover, phones with on screen buttons require more RAM (and thus more battery) to display them and and to hide/display them while playing videos.
2)Both the S6 and Z3 have about 71% screen ratio. But just take a look at the lower bezel of Z3, it's a waste of bezel space, while the S6 effectively uses it to house navigation buttons and the fingerprint reader.
3) The only successful fingerprint scanners (on iPhones and the S6) are placed in the home button. All other iterations have failed (remember HTC One Max). That is why the HTC M9+ put a button on the lower bezel just for fingerprint scanner.
And don't give me the classic troll example of "my friend had [INSERT RIVAL PHONE] and it doesn't work". Rather than complaining, ask your friends to post their problems on youtube, so that Samsung can look into it. BTW, I highly doubt your claims, since both Samsung and iPhones rigorously test the home buttons (search videos).

1) It doesn't occupy an... moreopps.. sorry to prove you wrong but-
1. even if their are on screen buttons for home screen etc, while watching video or playing games the button disappears, so you can use whole of your screen and enjoy it. I guess you haven't used other phones.. so you are another useless topical hater
2. doesn't matter, Sony still has best screen to body ratio (check specs page)
3. Finger print sensors can even be kept at other places, Home button is not the only place for it!
so basically, you are totally brainwashed to hate Sony and that isn't helping! I still couldn't find any concrete proof signifying HOME BUTTON IS SO NECESSARY!
secondly, 2 of my friends got their Samsung home buttons and other buttons like the back button got damaged, so they had to download other On screen button app from playstore because repairing cost would be just too high! so ultimately, home button aren't too useful, and button on screen would never get damaged

1) It doesn't occupy any screen estate, so the QHD screen can be used in all its glory.
2)It makes good use of the bezels, rather than having it just blandly display the logo (a la LG, HTC, SONY)
3)Last but definitely not the least, it can house a dedicated fingerprint scanner.
Are you happy now, or do u want more Reasons?????

AnonD-379427, 27 Jun 2015there's nothing else to say, the z2=z3=z4=z5=z6=z7=z8=z9=z^infinity, and they still suck. no r... moreSo much hate out there for Sony! well Sony doesn't fill up their devices with bloat or a bended screen on the side so for you it may look the same, but to the users, there is hell lot of performance difference between two different Flagships! have you even seen How brilliantly Z3+ performs even with water on its screen? its recognizes touches with 100% accuracy! but wait, since you are busy spreading hate, you won't realize!
btw I've seen a lot of Samsung users who started using Sony and never looked back at Samsung, but didn't found any Sony user who used Samsung and was satisfied!
whatever you may say, Satisfactory level of Sony devices is way beyond your imagination!
