AnonD-111968, 26 Jun 2015A week ago I bought a 2nd hand z3 at less thans half the originalbprice, this is only 2 months ... moreyou are 100% biased my friend. but anyway, who said anything about S6? :)) this article and most comments are targeted at the sale price of this device. and you my friend (yes I repeat myself) admitted you bought your phone at half price and 2nd hand so this whole discussion is out of your league. and NO, not everyone agrees with you on ANYTHING, not even on the design (or aesthetics, better said) of the Z3 or Sony phones in general.
go find another play partner as I don't give a fk

Umbilical Noose, 26 Jun 2015Even if you account all the overheating issues, MT6752 still don't compare to SD810. Its a mid... moreEven going by your argument that MT6752 is a mid range Soc, it is still better to buy a phone with Upper midrange Specs (Lenovo K3 Note) with a low-end budget price($150),

than buying a phone (Sony Z3+) with a throttling CrapDragon 810 Soc and 2013's flagship specs with a price tag of $880.

AnonD-391800, 26 Jun 2015Stero speakers? No? Sd card? No? Only 32 gb version? No? Premium look? No? Adreno better g... moreS6 Active over Xperia Z3+:

Higher Toughness Certification, thinner bezels, QHD screen over the 3 year old 1080p on Z3, Exynos SoC that bullies CrapDragon 810, A Mali GPU that scares off Adreno, better Camera with lower F-stop, a performance beast (check benchmarks), the highest battery time, and last but not the least, LOWER PRICE.

The S6 Active might not be the BEST(lack of SD card, no FM radio etc.) but I repeat my statement:

THE S6 ACTIVE IS BETTER THAN THE Z3+ IN (almost) EVERY WAY.

I got a feeling sony is confused now, and doesnt know what to do with their failing mobile devision. Look at the Z3, Z3+ and Z3v... theres not many changes and all are still released by Sony and guess what not many people will buy any of them. Whats worst is the features found on the Z3+ can be found on the Z3 and Z2. Thats 3 generations of flagships with almost the same spec and design, the only difference is the Cpu and Gpu, yet there launching the Z3+ with $880 price tag, which has smaller battery than the Z3, overheating SOC and everything else is the same as Z3 and Z2? yet you will still hear sony fanboys praising this phone as the best? I think Sony should stop listening to their fanboys because they have been losing profit for 2 straight years now.

hahaaaa.what a price.it's even heating in calling if you read sony home customers opinion.it's to hot in routin working.htc resolve M9 heating issue but sony can't and price it over all other new flagships. it has no thing more in compare to htc one M9 or galaxy s6 family except the price.(and z3+ has ip certificate and s6 has no but M9 has a lower version of IP certificate).
overall it's better go for M9 or s6.both are better than z3+ or new version of it. also I have to mention that htc released many update and solve heating issue I said and M9 camera improve and could head to head with S6 and in many situation M9 main camera is better.i would go for M9.bye

AnonD-163095, 26 Jun 2015Yesssss. Totally agree with you. Samsung IS value for money. Was it value for money when it came out fresh with its 850$ price tag too? Too many problems with overheating, throtling, sensors, memory leak and batterylife, along with shortcommings like lack of sd card, waterproofingg and stereospeakers for its price tag... S6 is definitely NOT worth its enormeus pricetag... Low Sales numbers confirm it also...

[deleted post]Another loawyer. Just defend your S6 with those points and you will make sense here. Your S6 has no micro SD slot it's an UNWISE decision by your S6 maker but then you think maybe it's a wise decision by them. A thousand words can be used to explain the advantage of having a microSD Slot and only one word for your S6 "imitator " of you fruit seller.

Now where are your points? Another thing,Z3 has a microSD slot, in case your sweet s6 encounter a problem and you need to reset to send it for repair you will lose your data or you may not reset and someday I will see your leaked video, be careful. That it the most absurd decision by your S6 manufacturer, removing the microSD slot.

You only have a high Evo pending price when you start selling a new device before or at same time as your competitors. The competition has already been there for a while and even reduced pricing so it makes no sense to have such a high release price, they are shooting themselves in the foot. The Z3+ has a slightly lower video/music/browsing time and much worse standby time than the Z3. Camera and screen are same and the speakers are actually slightly worse than the Z3. Most of all the star of the show the S810 throttles heavily just to maintain its thermals. That extra heat is not good for battery life either. So basically overcharging for a downgrade... Better to wait for S820 based phones coming out towards the end of the year.
