MT6795 spec is more like Snapdragon 615, including the GPU GFLOPS value. Hopefully, the phone can be cheaper than 400 dollar.
iPhones also use PowerVR, but they usually use the 4 clusters models while MT uses only 2 clusters models

so you get 2.25 the pixels of the z3 compact but a gpu which is actually slightly worse... mmm not very smart.

Being a 1080p screen would mean top level GPU performance too considering the S6 does really well with 1440p

MediaTek and high-end don't fit in the same sentence.

I would like to see Sony go down to 4.2" or 4" without too much of a hit on battery life or specs.

the cpu and gpu are similar to htc one e9+ but I experienced that sony start to lag and delay after many months especially with mediatek chip.mediatek chip needs the best UI and I cannot risk to buy this. just htc sense works perfectly with mediate and other android UI has less compatibility with mediatek chips. remember sony c that always hangs and needed to restart with dedicated button.... sony have to makes phone with SD and this phone will have lag and bug with mediatek especially they don't reach maturity like htc in software....
