Hi, its nice to hear that we can make video call. though its now in nokia only can we make this call from Nokia to any other 3G mobile phone ? if possible that would be super.........all the best skype.
[deleted post]Yeah the N82 was boring, that's why I dumped it for iPhones.
You can see from the video in the story just how bad video calls are you may as well just set a contact photo as your background and pretend that it moves every couple of seconds.
does this software work on non touchscreen nokia like e-series? e52, e72, e55... please help thank you
Guys, if someone want to have fun with QT software for this phone with some kinetics and graphics, go to http://qt.nokia.com/developer/qt-4.6-rc-for-symbian-developers for developers or first download the demo version to try and just accept all during installation on memory card, so you can see here in youtube wot is all about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhr44p2p_3M&feature=player_embedded
Anonymous, 25 Nov 2009Bitter with its incompatibility with the iphone, eh?Couldn't care less actually, if I rally wanted to I could dust off my N82 and install it on that, but then who would I call all my friends have iPhones and we communicate mainly through facebook and twitter.
[deleted post]Video calling is such a useful thing, I guess that's why phone networks advertise it all the time...
...hang on, no they don't, they don't even mention it any more.
So can I use this on a Nokia 6700 Classic?
You can use Fring to Video call via MSN messenger but throe 3G or Wi-Fi.

Original_Jamaican, 25 Nov 2009To EVERYONE: A front camera is NOT needed to make video calls as the Nokia E51 supports vid... moreUm, yeah that may be true but if you are using the back camera, you may as well be talking normally because you won't be able to see them. Without the front camera, you may as well not use videocall.
Anonymous, 24 Nov 2009when will this be available for iphone? Never! iPhone lacks the frontal camera, so there is no use of video call, unless you put a mirror behind your phone to send your mirrored image... :)
i dont think will be available for iphone since iphone have no secondary camera?
does that use data allowance rather than the call value? dame dat's hawt! @_@
