Anonymous, 30 Jun 2015The z4 is a recycled version of the z2 and z3, Sony basically did nothing to make this phone s... morepeople that think like you are the reason why the phone industry is staggering instead of progressing. you call the s6 good changes? it might look better but the s5 was amazing for the fact that even though it was water proofed it still had a detachable battery. it had an sd slot it was cheaper and plastic is a lot better for taking shocks. over 50% of my friends which own an iphone have either their front or back glass shattered. why can't people understand that those materials aren't better, more expensive doesn't mean better, most of the time it does i believe apple products are the exception to the rule. s6 happened because of people complaining and praising iphones, i always loved the galaxy s line now i have to look at others for a new phone. i currently own xperia z1 and even though it has glass on both sides it can take a hit, dropped it 3-4 times without any problems. just goes to show how good the iphone materials are.

Comes as no surprise. A quiet launch, little marketing, and an a known heating issue with the processing chip months. It also comes late after a louder S6 debut which is well received by users and critics. Plus with a 6-month release strategy, it's difficult to build hype on a phone so quickly replaced by a successor. It's just all-round bad business.

Nice... Z3 Compact. This is proof that so many people still want (sort of) small phones. Even on this site Z3 Compact is rated higher than its giant brother. Though I still wish they make their future Z- Compacts a bit smaller. Like Z1 Compact with a smaller body but same screen size.

The z4 is a recycled version of the z2 and z3, Sony basically did nothing to make this phone stand out from the rest. It's just lg and Samsung that actually made good changes to their flagship.

Why people form Japan dont buy phones from Japanese companies ? Is the market in Japan is so strongly consolidated and other companies and models dont have a significant stake?

Sony needed a compiling product and with the simpler design they didn't have that and the over heating issues made it worse they should have not stuck with 810 after the xperia z4 tablet and gone with 808 instead now they have to deal with it and its a shame

Most of these phones (except 7-8 AKA Xperia Z4) are phones with smaller than 5'screens which shows how a lot of people prefers less than 5 inch phones.
I hope Sony continue their tradition with the Xperia compact phones.
