Nokia just can't make touchscreen phones, they should stick to making more wannabe N95's

X6 will fail Nokia again in term of sales. Dont need a genius to figure it out nor fortune teller to predict it. Nokia serious need a better marketing strategy when come launching new high end phone. High end phone not equal to sky high price. Dont make sense as market got lot more better phone with better offer

Nokia is losing the mobile war... Other brands like HTC are much better then Nokia.

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2009nokia models are getting worse by the day in the looks department....s this a fone or a box? It's actually a 'phone'. There's no 'f' in that word. I'm not really sure what your point is in callind it a box either, as this is the shape of most phones out now.
Looks like a good start for Nokia, but I'd still prefer physical buttons for typing.

I had used 3 Nokias in a row. My last Nokia 6300 was a bit outdated and I was heftily looking for a new gadget, but hey! Last 2 years Nokia is a great disappointment, anything with touchscreen sux, is overpriced and most products look crude. When I saw the price tag on X6... I have bought HTC Diamond2.

great; no pc anymore with 32 gb, today i only own 18 gb of music....

more than enough, and 450 euro = 45 cds in europe; so i call it a bargain.

To you kids whining that it's too expensive: Of course it's more expensive -- it has all you can eat music. If you dig that, then it's a good deal. No need for that you say? Fine, it's not for you. Now stop crying.

Anyway, Symbian is outdated yes, but why is everyone jumping on the Android bandwagon? It is incredibly buggy, fails to do anything fluently yet because it "open source" and not Mac OS, Sym or WM people want to be different. Android could be good, but at the moment the UI's put over it are useless, there are lots of network issues and most people couldn't even tell you what code it's written in! So what's the point of you having an open source phone? As for the X6 I can't see where the price tag is coming from, but people will still buy it.

The biggest deal breakers are the size of the screen and the price and the crappy symbian OS. Only 3.2 inches? Typing on a 3.2 inch screen is a pain in the butt. Even if you don't mind the size of the screen, then there still isn't a reason to get this phone. The Samsung Galaxy is a much better choice with high capacity on board memory in addition to a micro sd card slot, an OLED screen, and the android OS. Forget the x6.

Even if the Symbian S60 runs fine on the 434MHZ/128MB RAM, there is still one major problem, anyone know? It is that third-party applications don't run well. So I plan to get a external GPS software which needs more than the 434MHZ, I have to buy different phone.

Can you imagine playing a long video on this, the lag would be terrible? iPhone has had this processor since 2007, why can't Nokia just make a deal with ARM for a 600MHZ+ processor to really make this thing rock?
