Bruno, 27 Nov 2009I am waiting for a hat-trick! Anyone wants to guess when Yari will be pulled?HHJAHAjHAjAhj thats a good one!
I worked in the phone industry the whole time i was studying and personally found sony's to always be a bit more buggy than the rest. As I left Nokia started having some really bad models, though saved themselves with some really nice solid reliable phone. SE I don't think did that (at least with the models in Australia) so this doesn't really surprise me unfortunately. I always found their standard OS a little odd as well. As for the other brands, they all obviously had their problems but once again backed it with some nice reliable handsets. I think SE need to focus on the basics a bit.

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2009lol, goodbye to rubbish, sony ericsson should just get out of the gameI had the K800i, which was a solid and reliable mobile and explains why it was such a deservedly huge hit.
After that I got the K850i which on paper, had the potential to be even better. Sadly, it wasn't - I had 2 replacement handsets as the touchscreen just kept freezing. Good camera and MP3 player though, as well as HSDPA for high-speed internet.
The W995 certainly ain't rubbish. I've had it for 5 months now and NOTHING has gone wrong. The MP3 player truly rocks.
The W995 is an absolute honey of a phone!
Sure makes me glad I got the W995 and didn't wait for the Satio, although I certainly admit I was tempted....
Se is one of the best cellphones companies. this is true, just go and see the ranking page of gsmarena. apple is nothing compared to sony. if sony was that bad? why do people consider it in the top list ranking? No answer, I knew it :)
SE never learn with their own products..it can seem with they never repair the headset port..
Because of that I never buy SE phone again n preffer samsung phone with good headset port n user friendly UI..yeah,touchwize is ugly UI,but very useful n practis UI
Nokia is great phone because simple phone n great costumer service too,but bad enaught hardware n boring UI for their mobile phone.
peace bro :)
HAHAHAHAHa What a joke, I thought SE was a super phone Wuahahahaha. Better stay with the None touchscreen based phones SE or better to say, STAY WITH UIQ! hahahaha
be warned- buy se now and you will be stung. loyalty will get you into trouble with them!!!
for those who buy a phone for it to last longer than two weeks heres my opinion.
1. Samsung- Reliable as hell across all ranges, top tier to low tier. spot on. The Jet being their best handset, reliability 10/10. Amoled screen, genius idea.
2. Apple & Htc- Apple replace 9 out of 10 phones if sent back for repair, no other company offers this. Htc, good allround reliable phones.
3. Nokia- Mid range to low range, fantastic reliabillity as you come to expect from them, high end (n97) not as good as it should be. as with most high tier handsets from nokia they suffer technical faults.
i dont care i will buy te sony ericsson xperia x10 when it comes out i own a nokia n96 an after two months later when i bought it i sent it for repair it turning off by it self it was freezing all the time and when i got it back its good it is still i bit laggy but is ok i also own a htc magic and it is not perfect it freezes sometimes of all the phones that i have had none of them been perfect, i think SE is good after all.
to the loser below my last comment(Think) u mate are well off the mark. sony ericsson have major issues, beyond what u think! if u worked frontline like me, u would see the amount we return and send off for repair each day, average of 15 a day and thats just one store, multiply that by 900 cpw stores nation wide and god knows how many phones4u, orange, o2, get connected, 3, tmobile and voda shops, it makes for huge numbers.
Compare that for example to Apple. if an iphone is faulty, 9 times out of 10 Apple replace the handset. and the reason they do this is because they do not have the retuns se do! they have spent money on quality and reliabillity not cheap and nasty plastic tat that se is producing!!!
this is an impartial view and is based on fact.
Sony ericsson make up 90% of our repairs! since the K800i, sony's reliabillity has been thrown out of the window, k850i - touchscreen buttons always failed, c905 - buttons and earpiece constantly failed eventually pulled from our stock. and now the satio and aino. i dislike selling sony as i know the customer will be back within 6 weeks!!
its nice to see carphone pulling these handsets off as its damaging for business and reputation. in my opinion carphone should refuse to sell sony ericsson until they spend an extra 50p on reliabillity!
sort it out sony ericsson.
What's the matter with all you morans. Se is just doing fine. There was a problem regarding a retailor in the Uk n! And probobly they did this, to be caution nothing more. Therefore, all you people who hate Se and you wish to see them lose, goodluck in another life lol. Because this will never happen in this cycle of life, so just live with it losers :D
After all that media hype about the Satio and Aino? Such a shame...there were high hopes for these phones...
Not only are SE unable to produce high end phones with 3.5mm jacks, and micro SD cards, but they have always acted as if they are the only manufacturers around. Like Motorola (with their ridiculously priced, minimum featured RAZR phones) they have refused to adapt to the market trends.
I believe that the more manufacturers that compete in the market the better for the consumer at the end. But SE and Motorola has alienated their loyal customers so much (especially on the lower end of the market) that it seems inevitable that they will become only token manufacturers with only a fraction of a percentage of market share.
Paul, 27 Nov 2009With Sony ericsson products, weather they are good phones or not you pay through the nose for ... moreMotorola is releasing an Android Phone with 8mp camera and xenon flash. It would be the Droid tablet. The keyboard-less version of the Droid.
