fruitcake, 01 Jul 2015How can Samsung include a Micro sd card Slot on this thin phone but then not offer it on the G... moreThe S6 didnt have micro SD card slot, because they didnt want to compromise performance, due to the much slower speeds of Micro SD. And Samsung probably reasoned that a lot of people that could afford the S6 could afford the 64GB version if they really needed storage space.

Samsung Galaxy A8 has really been hitting the rumor mill hard. The amount of information we have gathered about the still unannounced handset is almost ridiculous and includes live image

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2015How about optical image stabilization? I'm guessing it's not onboard.Nope.

Smaller pixels (less light, bad quality) and too slim for OIS. Yeah Sammy is doing great. :-(

I think it will survive more pressure than the iPhones. The only thing, I can think of is that the frame could get damaged/bent. And not the whole phone.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2015This is not an Iphone 6/6plus to bend. They bent because they were too slim, metal, AND most i... moreActually iPhone 6 Plus, had a weakspot, right by the volume key.
In the industry standard bend tests, it does quite well. And I think the industry standard tests might be to blame for bendgate. Apple simply did only do that test, so they never discovered the weakspot.

The big issue now, is that Apple managed to convince most media that the industry standard bend test is the way to compare it to other devices.
So there is no talk of bendgate anymore, since it even beats some of it's competitors in the industry standard tests.
And some say that those videos where people bent the phone must be fake. Because the force needed in the industry standard test, to bend the 6 Plus, is out of reach for most humans.
It's sad that media got fooled by Apple (again).

That does not however mean that 6 plus is for sure the only device with a weakspot.
We simply don't now, case tests keeps getting done in the industry standard way, that does not reveal all weakspots.
