Update for Sony Xperia Z3+ comes to fix overheating issues Comments

I got the z3+ on the release date and it has already been to Sony twice and I'm now booking it in for the 3ed time.
The first time I sent it the phone just shut off and wouldn't charge I sent it and the replaced the battery and the antenna and some stickers inside but never told my what the issue was (I think it was the red light of death due to overheating)
When they sent it back a 2 weeks later it came on but wouldn't charge still (makes sense the battery had power due to it been replaced) so I sent it back. Nearly 2 weeks later it came back, but a replacement. I was a refurbished phone which was annoying as I bought a new phone but to top it off the frame on the phone is coming away from the glass (probably when it was repaired) I called Sony and they said I need to take pictures and send the pictures to them before I can send the phone to them ( I guess they think I'm been dishonest ) I then asked to speak to a manager as I thought this was unacceptable and I was told they was busy and they would call me on Monday as they are about to close in an hour (This was on Friday) it's now Tuesday night and still no call. I have now noticed the screen is flickering like a wire inside is loose... Not happy especially as I'm stuck in a 2 year contract with a new outdated phone due to the release of the z5

my z3+ is a bit improved when updated. I just hard reset it and booom it really improves. Though what i like about this phone is even though it gets hot, it's still quite responsive than the s6 who happens to eat a lot of ram and lags even though there are only 3 apps are open.

I always carry a glass of water around with me... or when im in a meeting i excuse myself to go shower my z3+ under the watercooler, just so i can google something or take a photo. I heard they are remaking the peter andre video 'mysterious girl' with pete holding the z3+ under the waterfall. The phone is worse since update, overheats the same if not worse, performance is terrible, screen becomes unresponsive due to heat. Whilst in pocket constantly keeps unlocking itselfs and dialling contacts and i mean constantly & always the last people i would want to call. Screen constantly dims itself, switches to 15 sec auto dim. Call quality terrible, cannot hear or feel my phone vibrate even when in pocket, miss 9/10 calls. Heat makes handling of big phone difficult, gives you sweaty palms. Feel like im looking after a mischievous puppy and not the person with the latest hi- tech phone.

heating issue?, 07 Aug 2015lol heating issue bro its sony xperia z3+ put the phone in water for a sec it will be alright!!I have this heating issue also with this phone, then I read this lolatron of a comment, it was so funny initially that I had to login to this random site just to tell you that the simplicity of your joke almost gave me a hernia from laughter. Have a solution in this mobile, I bought last week Xperia Z3+ and. Fint time i was very happy with then, after the works. It will heating and no good feeling :(

Tw, 23 Jul 2015Still over heats at crucial moments. What is Sony doing I've also noticed that it overheats from time to time just by browsing or being on a socialnetwork, easy stuff. I wonder if there will ever be a fix for this issue. Otherwise awesome phone:)
