Me too and there is no information about any update in the future. It sucks
quiqho, 01 Jan 2016how to update to lolipop my lg g2 d802 stock from jellybeanIt does not work as OTA (download via telephone). You have to install LG PC Suite on your computer and it will detect the available update, just did so with my phone. I'm waiting to see if 5.1 will become available soon. I didn't have the time to check the 5.0.2 out but I hear it has a few problems. Hopefully mine will work fine :D
Any inside scoop on this. Just picked up a G2 this week loaded with Lollopop 5.0.2. So far so good... Battery life has been good with only a few inconveniences. I went into the notepad once and it did not fully display and once when I went into the Playstore, it did not load... just froze. I backed out a few times and then it worked.

@arsh, if you're just looking for an over-the-air (OTA) update -- and provided you have an AT&T SIM card -- go here:
If you're not using AT&T as your carrier, you can't pull an update that way. But you could try something like this:
Provided you know what rooting and TWRP are, you could also go this route:
* or install another D800 ROM based on CyanogenMod 12, which is LP
i must stress, if you don't know what you're doing, DO NOT try it at home. You CAN learn how, but it requires reading, patience, backup strategies, and a polite demeanor in the XDA help forums.

Because I have tried a few but failed to do so. Maybe not everybody is lucky enough. Or maybe not every website explains it with enough details for a noob/dummy like myself to pull it off. I'd appreciate your help. Thank you.
