First versions of lollipop was really poor in terms of lag on my nexus7. Now with the most recent update its smooth. I'm glad we didn't get the update on my G2 as I think we would have all been complaining

Mikkel OD, 06 Jul 20155.0.1 is out for LG G2Not for all G2 versions, I own a factory unlocked D806 and LG software says there's no update for my phone. Stuck at KK forever?

Nevermind 5.1.1, I have not even seen 5.01 anywhere, the LG software simply tells me..no updates, running 4.4x were fine until the last few weeks, no suddently the battery usage just goes down the toilet, a full charge will last for 10-12 hrs whereby before can go on for 2 days.
I have a factory unlocked D806, Lollipop Firmware for that version hasn't been released yet... Will it ever happen?

Let's wait until reports came back to us thru users that 5.1.1 is stable, else no point to move up to 5.1.1.

After reading many rumors, i have to conclusion ;
1) LG G3, would properly go directly to Android M, and therefore it would be waste of time to implement 5.1.1 in LG G3 first
2) Lg G2, 5.1.1 Update would be the last update, and i guess the plan was initially that the 5.0.1 should have been the last one, but because of the performance issues, they had to update it once more time.
You can upgrade to Lollipop by using lg software, i did and its Works like a charm
AnonD-40943, 06 Jul 2015What??? LG G2 is getting 5.1.1 Lollipop update? Thats shocking!!! There is no news of 5.1.1 up... moreClearly, LG is aware that G2 is a better phone than G3 :D
