JDA, 08 Jul 2015I just got my "Samsung Galaxy Grand Primo Bendo Trio Extravaganza A16" :) It's an am... more"...Although i dont have any apps and probably wont ever have on my phone..."
I though you would continue with:
...Although i dont have any apps and probably wont ever have on my phone, because I don't agree to the Spycense agreement of Samsung and Facebook. :-)
This is not a good development IMHO.
These are NOT Galaxy S-devices anymore. They are Galaxy A-devices. IMHO they should be addressed like that. A9 Edge and A8 Plus or something. The signature aspects that define a Galaxy S (high-end performance, external storage and removable battery) are gone.
I predict that a whole lot of Galaxy S-fans will skip these and either go or stick with Note 4 and /or S5 (like I did).
As for myself I've already decided to skip the S6-series and Note-series altogether. I think that a 64-bits OS on a device with less than 4GB is ridiculous. Not to mention that from Snapdragon 800 up-to the current Snapdragon 810 on, devices have been powerful enough. Besides I expect that with the Cortex A72 series of ARM-cores a major leap in performance will be achieved. While IMHO the Arm Cortex 5x based system aren't that spectacular compared to previous generations.
AnonD-383904, 08 Jul 2015In the shadows are you more your iPhone 6 Plus. Nor a chance against the Galaxy Note 5.I don't understand what you just said..learn english
AnonD-223269, 08 Jul 2015why the hell would samsung ditch their own in house most powerful chip for S808??? it nonsense!!!!! completly agree with you cant understand that step back to a worst processor
Hope note 5 don't like s6 don't have memory slot card just got device storage only... Please don't ! Hope won't be disappointed on note 5
I just got my "Samsung Galaxy Grand Primo Bendo Trio Extravaganza A16" :) It's an amazing device! It's got amazing bended screen although i dont know what to do with it... just yet..... why the hell would samsung ditch their own in house most powerful chip for S808??? it nonsense!!!!!
AnonD-364786, 08 Jul 2015Probably you got a magical battery. ;-)Must be. It's 5pm in my location, some 8.5hrs after it left it's charging umbilical and sitting at 71%
Please Samsung don't do this to me, i want user replaceable battery and a micro sd card slot. Or else lg G pro 3 will be a better option than note 5. Desperately waiting for note 5,please don't disappoint
S6 Plus with a Qualcomm? No for me. I will make do with S6 or the S6 Edge.
S6 EDGE Plus bench
Samsung, don't do the same mistake as S6 with sticking to 5.1". Yr sales figure are declining by the day. If this S6 Plus is to be 5.7" then it's correct that the new Note 5 should be 5.89". Lesson should be well learned.
If the screen size is same as Note 3 and Note 4 then there's no point for me to upgrade. I was looking for a bigger display in Note 5, sorry, I'm a little disappointed in Samsung if it's true.
Orch, 08 Jul 2015Doesn't matter, note 5 will be in shadows of the iphone 6 plusIn the shadows are you more your iPhone 6 Plus. Nor a chance against the Galaxy Note 5.
TheNeighbor, 08 Jul 2015The bad news is, Samsung will lose long-time customers like me with fixed battery and no memor... moreThe only changes I needed from the Note 4 to upgrade from my Note 3 were:
4-5000 mAh replaceable battery
Front facing speakers
And, honestly, I would have been Ok with the note 4 screen. Maybe samdung could make a second model for for Android users who don't want to copy crApple?
AnonD-146024, 08 Jul 2015S6 Edge Plus I mean. Samsung loves Apple. Don't they!I don't know why they choose these names. I don't even know if that is going to be the official name or not?
Do you have something against the "Plus" moniker? Do you know how many companies use this moniker in the past, even before Apple made their iPhone 6 Plus?
