As a fan of Xiaomi, I am hoping that although the aethetics are thinner that they stay true to the Redmi Design Language. The Redmi was a wonderful phone and the Redmi Note is just as beautiful. This design was transfered through to the Redmi 2 (Which I Own) and I hope that Like the Redmi to Redmi Note design transfer, the Same happens with the Redmi Note 2. In which by this I mean... "Keep it looking the same, Just a bigger screen"
Jarret, 11 Jul 2015Why Note 2? Xiaomi copying idea from Samsung's.... Says the person whose company copied the hell out Apple's iPhone for their first Galaxy phone.

I am not impressive with design and spec. as I see picture, I saw it same many phone mid-range from Lenovo or Opp. I don't like china maker about design unexceptional price lower... even though I also buy once phone to trying then evaluation and comparision other phone.

For gaming, 720p is better option than 1080p,, snapdragon 615 / mt6752 run more easly on 720p, yes it lacks of detail but its still good

Too scattered new UI. I use adblocker I guess both sides should be filled up with adds but I can't see anything..just plain grey tones :) I would love to have options to view it old ways.
Umbilical Noose, 10 Jul 2015Still no news on the SoC or other useful bits. I am guessing it will use Mediatek SoC.More likely they are going to use SD615 if they want to keep the same price, below 999 yuan.
