I only hope that they make advancements in the read write speeds of the chips so that phone makers do not remove them alltogether from their devices (wasnt it due to speed issues why samsung removed them from the s6/edge? If it was due to space surely they can just add a port in the simcard slot....i would really love to have a note 5 with a 200gb micro sd card but it looks like it aint gonna happen....i know people might ask why such large storage needs, but now that phones can record in 4k amd shoot raw the 32/64gb storage will still run out rapidly....i use both of the above. And also having the ability to upgrade devices such as laptops without having to carry extra drives etc around is great.

Happy 10th anniversary sd my first sd card was 1gb back in 2008 for my blackberry 8830 it was about 27 dollars at radio shack off post could have gotten a better deal at aafes lol
