Battery < 4000mah = fail
Non removable Battery = Fail
No Microsd Card = fail

Basic requirements . And I'm sure they'd fail to understand tht . I hope samsung doesn't prove me wrong . I have full confidence that samsung would fail our hopes :) ( pun intended )

Shadowjump, 14 Jul 2015That is not true. I found some good reasons to change to a Note 4 from a Note 3. I do not see ... moreWell, it's not only the camera, the UFS storage, the design and build, i believe the camera is also F1.9? Front camera is now 5mp, more powerful processor, bigger battery and more ans faster ram. I think it's quite an upgrade. If you asked me i thought Note 3 to Note 4 wasn't much of an upgrade. That's why i still stick to Note 3.

The Note series' target market are usually power users.
So basically were looking at a lost cause with the battery being replaceable, uncertain with SD card slot, and a sure hit with the S-Pen (what's the point of a Note without the pen anyway)

Just a quick question, is user replaceable batteries a thing of the past now? or is it just me still looking for that feature?

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2015Same as everyone was thinking when they had S4 and Note 3 then S5 and Note 4That is not true. I found some good reasons to change to a Note 4 from a Note 3. I do not see any reasons now with the 5. Nothing of meaning changed. The camera from the Note 3 to the Note 4 was quite an upgrade. In this, it doesnt look like it is.

I love the Note series, have a Note 4, but if Samsung are not going to embrace USB-C, probably the industries greatest ever achievement, then I'm switching to the OnePlus 2, which whilst not having an S-Pen, if it's anything like as nice as the OnePlus One, going to be a pleasure to behold and use. And I'll get a used Note 10 or 12 for creative thinking.

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2015It will be a fail. I was waiting for the Note 5, but why would anyone buy a Galaxy S6 like pho... more...because of the bigger screen and a pen, perhaps?

Not a fan of larger screened devices, but a wacom-made stylus would be a selling point for any phone for me.
