The 626 is literally one of the ugliest phones I've ever seen when looked at from the front.looks okay from the sides and the back but the front is hideous.
No mention of speaker? I see dual front speaker grills on each of those handsets. Interesting offers there although I'm dissapointed with the choice of the chipset.
this looks awful. htc = happy telephone company. more like horny tempered cripple
bezel HTC bezel stil the biggest in the market. Now compare Samsung s6 Edge and bezels from any htc smartfone, sad, verry sad.
Almost every entry level phone out there has a quad core 1.2GHz
where did they dig up this cheap chipset?
-210 chipset with 1.1GHz-
this is now *below* entry level
with this naming scheme (520, 52*, 620, 62*) they should put windows on it :)
So .... why release a phone called the desire 626 when you have already released a phone called the desire 626 with a 13mp cam and no nfc? More like the 626s here except that has a 8mp cam.
Confusing HTC ... if you insist on releasing so many models there are other numbers you know!
Anonymous, 15 Jul 2015You get for what you pay for!...Funny thing is these will be relatively expensive and I will suggest everyone looking for a budget phone to consider the Moto E & G.
Good job HTC now no one will buy your flagship because you make poor people phones too.
HTC won't understand! Will they? Same old black bars and the camera & battery would be pathetic as usual, except for their Sense interface which is good.
Why does Qualcomm even produce Snapdragon 210 chipsets to be equipped in these HTC phones. These low end products will not be adequate for performing most tasks beyond calling, texting and other basic functions like calculator function and etc. The Snapdragon 410 is already struggling with its barely sufficient 306 GPU. Low end smart phones are a waste of resources and materials. Just produce mid-range and high-end draft retards.
