Anius, 20 Jul 2015Not really, 1gb is still not enough. Moto G 2014 reloads app like crazy.well it is not a problem of 512 mb or 1 gb of ram android main issue is optimization just that...thats why multitasking doesnt work as should be. and insted of get tour app where u left off..it will reload again wich is stupid.... used to use ios and now im an android user...i can tell u that ios multitask is way better... in android u get slowdown and reloads even having enough memory to use..... i tried this with 1rst gen and 2nd gen moto g.... im moving to 2 gb of ram just to see what happens..... but ill stay with kit kat insted of laggypop
it looks like NOKIA Lumia 822. ouch.
bug, 20 Jul 2015Not really. Remember Lollipop has switched Dalvik with ART and now most apps need far less RAM... moreNot really, 1gb is still not enough.

AnonD-241270, 20 Jul 2015i think it should come with SD615 and at least 1.5GB of RAM...and of course 16GB internal ONLY... moreYup i agree.. the 610 would be nice... and make it more moto g... put the 410 on the moto e...
1.5 or 2gb ram, 1080p 5.0-5.2" and 8gb+micro sd or 16gb+microsd

8gb+microsd>16gb-microsd
I hope it will be available before the end of august (when my current contract ended).
And I dont think for that price we will get only 1gb ram.
16 GB non-expandable >>>>> 8 GB expandable.
Anonymous, 20 Jul 20151Gb..ram not enough for the priceNot really. Remember Lollipop has switched Dalvik with ART and now most apps need far less RAM. Of course 1.5 or 2GB would have been nice, but 1GB is not a deal breaker. My 2nd gen Moto G has only 1GB and Lollipop and it's still butter-smooth. Of course, it helps it's not running some awful custom skin, something only Motorola does these days.
AnonD-241270, 20 Jul 2015i think it should come with SD615 and at least 1.5GB of RAM...and of course 16GB internal ONLY... moreI like having 8GB.
If you don't want it then don't buy it.
1Gb..ram not enough for the price
As long as Motorola keep it on a basis of a decent budget, it'll be a good phone and it'll sell by the masses. I'd buy one, but I can only get a Mk1 Moto E right now xD
"my" usual online shop in switzerland has it listed with pictures although it says 2GB RAM and 8 GB storage. no word about cameras though but it has the "shells" described so you could customize the phone. no wording on price (approx CHF 235.-- initially) and availability. looks like a great phone though for a budget friendly market
i think it should come with SD615 and at least 1.5GB of RAM...and of course 16GB internal ONLY, without the 8GB option, because the 1GB and 8GB and the SD410 should go for the new Moto E...if doesnt, Moto G will not be the mid-range i know!
I used to have a first generation Motorola Moto G which I loved until something went wrong with it and Motorola refused to repair it under warranty. Goodbye and good luck Motorola and you can keep your products!
Moto X leaks please...
