16gb is minimum required!. about 4.5gb you will get from 8gb. that too after few updates you get around 2gb + sd-card. some apps dont move to sd-card. and system updates in the rom itself.

The phone is good design but spec is too low. I don't understand why Motorola can launch new product with RAM 1G or Chip 408..I think the price of product around 200$ is suitable for many customer... I also want buy once if price is low..

I personally like moto all the way around 2gb of ram was all i wanted. It's an awesome phone that youll be able to customize apparently. Can you customize the Asus padfone? I mean besides the solid color?

If Asus can sell padfone S less RM800, I don't see why motto G 3rd Gen has to settle for SD 400 series! What a big deal about waterproof when it's not dustproof? 720p screen when Asus can give 1080? Moto can't stay at past glory of Motst G 1st Gen!

I hate how they're moving the M dimple lower on the phone and the lack of symmetry on the speakers bothers me. Other than that for $180, still the best phone.

I'm still hopeful there will be two versions. One with 1gb ram and 410. The other with 2gb and a 610?

Waterproof? I still don't see the relevant for this. Budget phone specs with waterproof function. I bet most people will keep this phone in their pocket or leave it at home. Good phone for a swimmer or any water-based activity though.

Speaking from experience, 8GB is not enough storage space. Also the microSD expandable memory will not help as much as some people might think because you can't install most programs and applications onto the external memory card, and those that can be moved onto the card, don't completely move onto the card. When the applications need to be updated they are moved back onto the internal memory, meaning you always need to have as much internal space available for the complete application as if it was never moved at all onto the microSD card.

I think it will cost more and will be a useless device like moto e (2nd gen) which will never beat chinese companies specs which is very bad. I don't like Chinese brands !!

Nice slow chipset, water proof? Who cares? How many people use their phone under water or in the rain? Everyone one wants a fast device and this isn't. Old tech crammed into a water resistant case.

Just bought a Moto G 4G in the UK second hand whilst waiting for the Note 5, and it's lovely. Comfy to hold, Lolipop is way nicer than on the Note 4 (my prev phone), the screen is excellent & it's a pleasure to use with all of Moto's clever features. Not bad for the price.
