1- They hate Microsoft OS users. "At least, NSA won't be ... moreYou are a very disillusioned WP owner....Microsoft , Apple and Google are US Govt's bitch so stop feeling secure while using there OS.
Secondly they are not waiting for WP 10 as who want to invest on a system which has only 2% market share.

1- They hate Microsoft OS users. "At least, NSA won't be able to sniff our data via this franchise anymore ;) "
2- (which is more probable) They want to spoil themselves in order to release in time around the launch of WXM (Windows 10 Mobile) which is not WP (Windows Phone) anymore. "If so, good for Rovio to make more money :)) "
