Bought mi4i from flipkart for 8500rs last october. After 3 months phone started heating while making/receiving calls. Started headache while calling, its a clear indication of high radiation. I discontinued the phone. I had run after best budget phones, Who knows which vital organs are affected by its radiation tomorrow.
The real fact is, the bulk products which have small defects are sold as bulk in online sites, and offer great reduction in price, On the contrary side second hand mobiles on market reduce their selling rate, so they offer mobile exchange offer for 1/4th the real price.
I sold my mi4i(Ironbox) in olx for 1/2 price. I have learned a lot from mobile market.
Now my final dream is iphone 5. Cost effective, reliable, safe radiation level.

Paulw, 23 Jul 2015Do you also have Cell data turned on as well??nope....just WiFi. and i use that smartphone just for social networks, FB and Instagram, with litlle web brawsing.
so no gaming, no weather and other apps that neads to be conected all the time,even eith screen off.
battery life of this phone is just bad as it temperatures are.
it does have nice screen, but it can't justify "flagship" name that Xiaomi like to call it.
and if didn't use Xiaomi devices before, and if this one was my first...i would say Xiaomi is very bad maker, if this is how they make their "flagship", what could man think about hteir lower ranged phones!?
i had S3 before and it's now 3 years old, standing in my drawer for some time, and even now when i turn it on it can do better then this SoC.
i have also Xperia Z, which with 2300mAh matery (30% less then Mi4i, even though it have same screen size, but better and stronger SoC- trust me IT IS, when SD615 heats up, it's a brik, not a smartphone) and if i turn it on now, it still can last more then 5 hours with screen on, with same usage patern like Mi4i.
f*** i even have one Redmi 1s, Xiomis "low range" device, which is similar with it's battery life, but have better optimized OS (yes, same MIUI, but works better, i guess because they had more time to fix all bugs, and with CM12 instead it can reach 5h of SoT to some people)

Xiaomi dis appointed customers... from 16GB version to 32GB should have price of 12999/- only. Then only sales will increase.

Price is too much higher as compared with its other models, they should bring the phone with same price tag replacing 16gb model. then only we can think about it.

without touching phone, almost in idle, with only WiFi on and without turning on screen...my can't last 48h.

The piece you got must have some issue.
