i have one, with 16GB.
since everything else is same, i would like to recomend to all of yo NOT TO BUY this peace of crap.
i overheats, battery life is very bad (it have battery with more then 3000mAh, but still cant pass 12 hours of normal ussage with no gaming and it top is 4h of SoT). if you compare it to more the 2 years old Xperia Z, you will se it is allmost same device, but still Z is much better in all benchmarks, and it's battery is "JUST" 2300mAh, but it overlast this peace of s***t by 2-3 hours of SoT,and can last more then full day to anyone.
plus, Mi4i have problems with charging, sometimes it just cant charge phone more then 60%.
MIUI, OS on phone is more then bad....with just FB and Instagram on, phone have just 400MB of RAM free (and it's 2GB inside) .
apps falling down, even basic ones like brawser and keyboard.
Xiaomi call this device "flagship" (even they have much better devices,and even it's 2 years old Mi3 is much better choise then this), but it dos not have any support for it.
they expect that you will be their BETA tester and even ingineer to fix all bugs you find.
people, if you really want to buy something ceap, just go buy Meizu M2. it does have "just" HD screen, but everything else is better then this phone. it's HW is better even with cheapest model of MTK SoC inside.
and for this price, that Mi4i costs, better solution is all 2 year old flagships, souch as SGS4 (even SGS3 is better, but smaller), LG G2, HTC One, Xperia Z,Z1...

Better to go with galaxy J7 .It has new exynos processor which is much better than snapdragon 615 plus 16 GB internal n micro SD expansion . everything is same except resolution which is 720p on galaxy J7

I've got to hand it over to the 3rd generation Moto G for its refreshed phone design but if only it has the same specs as the 4i, I might have considered Moto G's extra $10 tag. Because right now, both are a bit of a head-scratcher for me. Design or specs? Specs or design?

Xiaomi had launched Mi3 last year in India at a price of INR 13,999/-. Now that had Snapdragon 800 with Adreno 330. Compared to that, Mi 4i has much inferior specs except for 32GB Internal memory.
So, effectively after 1 year, Xiaomi has started charging more for much inferior experience.
