Let it rest in peace

Nokia is the one die out 1st like steam engine.......
By eliminating the micro sd, samsung tried to pull-an-apple and force people to buy the more expensive storage option, but seems like the strategy backfired, and with a lot of android users disappointed with the lack of micro sd card slot.

64Gb should really be the minimum now and I have a 128Gb card in my phone and it's loaded with video, pictures, music, games & data. and it's about 50% full.
Anonymous, 23 Jul 2015Samsung galaxy s6 is much more better built than any nokia 8 If you compare an S6 with an 8-series Nokia from so many years ago, then yes. The S6 is better built than the 8-series.
But considering the times that these phones were manufactured, the 8-series was one of the best built phones when it was released. The S6 has just average, normal build quality compared to other phones that are available now. Nothing outstanding about it.
Now a days 32GB phone memory is enough that i think.Galaxy S6 is the best smartphone of the world, this is why 128GB phone memory is better for Galaxy S6
India never had the 128GB S6/S6 Edge in the first place.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2015Nokia 8810, 8850 had the same price in 1998-2000 and all high end gsm devices ,every year sinc... moreYes, Nokia sold those phones at a very high price, but you cannot compare Android phones to those high-end Nokia phones. Those were premium devices made out of quality materials and ran Nokia's OS. Currently, if a phone is running Android, it shouldn't cost more than 300$, as any price higher than that is not justified.
You can build a nice looking car around a steam engine, but in the end it will still be a steam engine car. (the same as with all Android devices)
But when you use a proper engine that is on par with modern-day technologies and you also build a nice looking, performant car around it, you get a premium product. (just like the case for Windows, iOS, BBOS phones)
The fact that a lot of people still choose to "drive steam engine cars" nowadays is because it's the first type of engine that they could afford to have in their cars and they got used to it.
Switching from Android to Windows/iOS/BBOS is like switching from a steam engine car with many levers and gears to a full electric, automatic transmission (obviously) car.
if I need storage like 128gb, I would buy Asus Zenfone 2 128gb version, not S6 128gb
the fact that the same exact phone ends up being insanely more expensive for absolutely no reason is why people don't buy it also. With many Xiaomi and OnePlus phones you can see than the phones are very similarly priced to the international prices
AnonD-246216, 23 Jul 2015Might as well get a mid range phone if you're not gonna fully use your S6's video and camera f... moreAnd to talk about Camera Features, sure it captures 4K videos and pictures which take a lot of memory, but I don't have any medium to play 4K video or view those pictures, so I simply don't even care about 4K. It's just a feature for those who have maybe 4K television and proper players to play that content. If not, it's totally useless. And you can enjoy simple amateur home videos equally in HD quality too. You don't need 4K to enjoy that. The only content that can be enjoyed on 4K would be movies/shows with extreme use of visual effects, not home made videos. :)
Samsung should stop making any versions of s6/s6 edge - they have already sold each and every fool customer.

I have 9 movies currently stored on my memory chip and 3 GB worth of total music. I can very comfortably watch all the movies till I decide to swap them with new bunch of movies on my device. It depends on how you manage the space on your device. If you can't manage that much space, you're incapable of using that device. Coz, then even 1TB would be insufficient for you and you'll keep crying for more storage space. Those engineers and analysts sitting in Samsung's, Apple's and other offices know things a bit more than you. Though, you can have your opinion, just like I have mine. :)
