summit, 24 Jul 2015Nokia HoloLens ?That would be nice. But the title of the article clearly stated a Virtual Reality device not an Augmented Reality device like Hololens. Hololens is said to be used by Nasa astronaut but never released commercially to public. I hope it didn't end up like Google glass. So far, Samsung Gear VR are the only commercially available successful VR product. Sony and HTC also made VR headset but not widely available. Nokia might released their VR device without smartphone compatibality. If they made it like Google cardboard vr and Gear VR that would be nice. Because most smartphone now can support VR and 360 video with or without apps.

VR? bleah, it makes me nauseous just by thinking of it. NOKIA should make phones running stock Android :3 That and a good camera would make the best phone for me. And their design, which is usually better than your average smartphone out there. Well, it used to be. Lately most of their mid-tier phones look like soapholders too.

I'll second that, the market needs Nokia back. Hardware has become utterly banal and homogenous. A big screen is not the be-all and end-all, lets see some creative design in the market again please Nokia.
Bring back Maemo whilst you're at it too!
