And I'm with you on the camera bump thing. Why not just pack in another 500mAh of battery and make it flush? Hardly anyone is asking for thinner phones, but almost everyone wants more battery life.

[deleted post]Reality? Fact that Samsung is the best is more like a fairy tale mate..... If reality would be as you say it is, Samsung wouldnt struggle today and as we all know, their sails are dooooooown quarter after quarter.... The thing is, I got a few friends at work that tried Samsung device and they all agree to one thing after using them for approx a year..... They all say "never again Samsung device"!

It will be a push to eject s-pen. there's not enough room to navigate a fingernail around it to pull it out.

Oh dear what a ridiculous phone, and all fanboys getting excited but what for? My Sony Z Ultra still outclasses this in all departments, please get excited for nothing. Maybe the Note 9 will finally beat my Z Ultra although I doubt it very much.

Vic, 27 Jul 2015Really sad to hear Samsung is going to use Exynos... It means poor battery life - exactly as i... moreLmfao!!!!!! The Exynos is way more powerful and way more efficient right now. Cute attempt. It also throttles a lot less than the S810 and throttles a little less than the S805-S808. And thats while being more powerful and efficient.
Plus Exynos means superior Wolfson audio as well.

You are comparing two different generations of chips. So in idle the Snapdragon 805 was a tiny tiny bit more efficient than the Exynos 5433. Tiny, but the 5433 had a much better cpu, much better audio chip, and slightly weaker graphics that usually ended up being better anyway because of less throttle.....
But you say its so much worse because of a difference of 3% idle in 7 hours?

Sadly, I doubt they will be including Micro SD support for the Note 5, all of the renders I've seen appear to sport a non removable back panel. I'm willing to bet anything it will come in 32/63/128 GB options. The Note 5 was likely in production alongside the S6 and S6 Edge, so they likely went in with the idea of no SD card support for all three of those models. However I'm thinking that the backlash from dropped support will result in them adding a slot in the S7 series next Spring.

4 GB RAM available and yet the remaining is only 700+MB!!! What's the point?

It was Nokia's inability to adapt to the market.

I didn't care about the Galaxy S series, but the Note series has always been the top most powerful device.
