its LTE technology they are going to use. they are using the local teleco providers for that. most probably they will use SLT as their core. this is agood initiative...
Some websites said itz going to provide WLAN. Some people said LTE. Some are said 3G. idk

They ran tests in new zealand prior to putting this to play here in Sri Lanka, so I think they've already thought about risk factors such as storms and winds.
