If i was the head, I would have kept Adreno 330 based chipset. Because it currently considered as old when compared with products like Adreno 418 and so. Maybe for being Neo the resolution could be brought down to 720 x 1280 with ppi around 300 and the cam to 13 and 5 mp with dual led flash.

The Mali t760 mp2 is too slow for good performance with 1080p. Should be at least MP4 for good performance.

S5+ is 430 euro 2 times slower S5 Neo is also 430 euro.
Even regular S5 is faster than this but price around 380 euro.
Mali T720, oh come on... even weakdreno 304 faster than that.
There is really really really something wrong with shamesung, no more engineers could thinking.
Is this the next thing?
Shamesung falling down, will become second HTC... They doing exact same mistakes.
But who cares, huawei and lg is rising up and soon there will be no place for shamesung.

Never ever buy neo version of samsung mobile...they will not provide further updates in neo version..as same happen wid me in note3 neo...that is only their strategy. ..shame on u samsung..u still produce neo version as u unable to provide update to previous one

I thought it was cancelled. Samsung really good at bringing dead thing to live. Why the S5 Neo branding? Only the chip is downgraded. The camera is upgraded and they called it Neo? They could just re-brand it as Galaxy S5 2015 Edition.

Weird strategy alright. Although it's nice to know that they haven't totally forgotten the removable battery fans. From what I'm reading the S6 has been responsible for a dip in profits compared to the same period last year.
